DIY Bunny Wreath: A Cute & Cozy Spring Craft
Spring is in the air, and what better way to welcome the season than with an adorable DIY Bunny Wreath? This simple, budget-friendly project is perfect for Easter décor or just adding a touch of whimsy to your home. With soft, fluffy yarn and charming floral embellishments, this wreath is as cute as it is easy to make!
Supplies You’ll Need:
- Wire (two pieces, approximately 18 inches each)
- Foam wreath base
- Yarn:
– Lion Brand Chunky Yarn (Monroe location) While supplies last.
– Bernat Blanket Thick Yarn (Bonney Lake location) While supplies last.
or any thick, fluffy yarn of your choice. - Floral embellishments
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Shape the Bunny Ears
Take your two pieces of wire and bend each one in half to form two symmetrical bunny ears. Adjust the curves until they look just right – pointy for a playful bunny or rounded for a softer look!

Step 2: Attach the Ears
Insert the ends of each wire ear into the top of your foam wreath base. Use hot glue to secure them in place, ensuring they stay upright and sturdy.
Step 3: Wrap It Up
Now for the fun part – wrapping! Take your chunky yarn and begin wrapping it around the wreath and ears, covering the foam and wire completely. Watch our video to see how we did it. Keep the yarn snug and even for a fluffy, seamless look. Secure the ends of the yarn with hot glue as needed.

Step 4: Decorate & Personalize
This is where you can get creative! Add floral embellishments, ribbon, or even a cute bow at the bottom. You can go for a pastel, spring-inspired theme or keep it neutral for a more minimalist look. The possibilities are endless!
