Precious Art & Heirlooms Framed to Last

Precious Art & Heirlooms Framed to Last

Precious Art & Heirlooms Framed to Last: Custom framing preserves cherished memories and valuable artwork, offering more than just a decorative edge.  Choosing local, professional framing ensures your pieces receive the utmost care, protection, and design expertise so they can be enjoyed for generations to come. Here’s why investing in custom framing through skilled, local framers truly makes a difference.

Custom Framing Built to Last

Custom framing goes beyond enhancing the beauty of your artwork or family mementos; it provides long-term protection. Skilled framers carefully select top-quality materials to create a durable frame that shields your items from light, moisture, and dust. With museum-quality glass, acid-free mats, and UV-protective coatings, they keep your artwork or keepsakes safe from fading, discoloration, and other signs of aging.

“This shell was passed down through three generations. The owner was afraid to display it out in the open where it could easily be damaged. Now it is safely encased in a beautiful shadow box where it can be enjoyed by the next generation.” (Bonney Lake Frame Shop Team)

“We were honored to have created this custom shadowbox for a local, retired firefighter, framing a custom axe he received for his service with the Monroe Fire Department! The shadowbox created by Kim, measures out to be 40″x 15″x 2″ using a silver and black frame stacked with black matting. We also included hints of red matting along the inside edge to help the axe stand out and match the colors representing the fire department.” (Monroe Frame Shop Team)

“This beautiful wedding dress was hand sewn in and mounted onto an archival mat foam board then placed into a custom made shadow box and topped with conservation clear acrylic to block up to 99% of UV rays to prevent fading over time.” (Monroe Frame Shop Team)

Trusting a Qualified Professional

Working with a local framing expert gives you access to hands-on, personalized service from someone who genuinely cares about your piece. Local framers bring experience and knowledge about appropriate framing methods for different types of artwork. This means they can offer solutions that protect fragile or unconventional materials, whether you’re framing a delicate textile, a piece of family history, or a precious work of art.

“This fragile antique miniature painting needed very gentle handling, as it was already cracked. Gently cradled under the hand-painted custom mat so as not to apply any pressure and placed behind museum glass, the owner can now safely display her tiny treasure.” (Bonney Lake Frame Shop Team)

Our Frame Shop team had the privilege of contributing to the preservation of this WWII-era American flag, encasing it in a stunning custom-made frame! Final size is 96″x58″. (Monroe Frame Shop Team)

A customer brought in this vintage lace collar with a picture of a family member wearing it at the beginning of the century. She wanted us to create a unique shadowbox that would showcase and preserve this beautiful piece. First our framing specialist carefully flattened out the lace, then used a needle and some thread to tack in place the entire lace collar. This way, it will stay in place in its new frame.  (Monroe Frame Shop Team)
