Safety recall on Waxcessories Electric Simmer Pots
Includes Waxcessories® electric simmer pots using a bulb. No other simmer pots are affected. The simmer pots have wire connections that may become loose causing wires to overheat, posing a risk of electric shock and fire. Waxcessories® has received 161 reports of discolored cords, loose wires and wires separating from the pots. No injuries have been reported.
Waxcessories® is asking consumers to stop using affected electric simmer pots and to call the toll free number or register on the web site to receive a free replacement product. After registering, consumers will receive a return kit in the mail.
